The aftershocks, which came just before the inauguration of Chile’s new president, measured 6.9 and 6.2. They caused panic among people already living in camps outside their ruined homes. Luckily our team managed to get out of the building they were in, but internet access is down so we’re waiting to hear the latest news from them. They were in Talca, in the badly affected Maule region, but we’ve heard that they managed to get away to Santiago.
